Mountain Biking Minutes from the Tappanzee!

The traffic was bad on my commute so I drove south on 9A to get to work and passed a promissing bit of woods. I parked here 41° 2'0.97"N 73°50'50.08"W (just my way of keeping it a bit secret!
You would likely do every trail here in about 2 hours but it is truly outstanding practice riding with loads of double track swoopy trails and single track climbing. Great fun for a beginner. Advanced riders just need to go faster! Much like the Atlantic highlands in NJ.

Hi Robert,

I’m happy to share that Wave Hill, in partnership with the High Line and Fort Tryon Park, is offering a 4-part weekly series of seasonal photography sessions led by Benjamin Swett. Sessions are designed for both novice and experienced photographers to explore the technical and aesthetic aspects of outdoor photography through a guided tour of the site. The last session includes a critique of everyone’s work. The weekly sessions are held on Thursday from 1-4 pm starting on October 14th at the High Line, followed by Fort Tryon Park, and the last two at Wave Hill. The 4-series fee is $135 for Wave Hill, High Line and Fort Tryon Park members; $175 for non-members. Single session fee, if space allows, is $35 for Wave Hill, High Line and Fort Tryon Park members; $45 for non-members. Space is limited; register early!

We hope to see you soon!
